Parco Leonardo is situated on an area of 160 hectares along the Roma – Fiumicino road network, not far from the New Fair of Rome.
Parco Leonardo is a real city even if it has been half completed; it has a “mixed-use”, in fact here you can find shops, offices, free time entertainments, schools, parks, hotels and so on.
Some useful data regarding Parco Leonardo:
- There are about 2700 apartments sold out in Parco Leonardo (some of them are still in construction);
- In December 2004 it was opened a multi screen, the biggest in Italy, with 24 halls, 6100 seats and it offers more than100 shows a day. The multi screen is situated inside the palace of entertainment, a building 30.000 square meters wide which has a 16 runs bowling, video games, bingo hall, slot machines, disco bar, two big restaurants, an ice creams shop and a big nursery for children;
- The Commercial Centre Leonardo has been opened on the 9th of November 2005, the biggest commercial centre in Italy which occupies a 100.000 square meters area and has 216 shops and Auchan, a big hypermarket 13.000 square meters wide.
The main project is a system of three elliptic squares that make a big pedestrian zone. This area links all the apartments, which are all built with high quality materials, with the Commercial Centre, with the Palace of entertainments, with the coming Office Park and with the metropolitan railway station. The three squares are the right place for many events, activities and concerts in all the year.
